In Aligarh, a cloth trader was cheated of 27 lakhs by his accountant in the railway road area of police station Gandhipark area. This was revealed when the trader looked at his account. The accountant’s father was also involved in this scam. The police have registered a case and arrested the accused father. At the same time, the accused accountant has surrendered in the court. The police have sent both the accused to jail. The accused accountant was to get married on May 4. On the confirmation of going to jail, the girl side has broken the relationship.
Subodh Kumar alias Sonu, a resident of Turkman Gate Railway Road, used to work as an accountant for a year at a cloth merchant. Sometime back, Sonu, along with his father Vinod, started taking the traders’ money into his account. A few days later, he used that money to bet on IPL. When the merchant checked the details of the account, he was stunned. There was not enough money in the account.
With the help of bank officials, he came to know about the scam done by father and son. The Gandhi Park police arrested the accused father Vinod after registering a case against the businessman. Whereas the accountant Sonu surrendered in the court. From where the police sent both of them to jail. Inspector Gandhi Park Ravindra Kumar Dubey told that by embezzling from the businessman, the accountant played IPL betting with the help of his father. The names of many people have come to the fore in this matter. Whom the police will arrest soon. SI Naveen Kumar, Head Constable Yogesh Kumar were included in the police team.
Sonu’s marriage was after four days
Accused Subodh Kumar alias Sonu was to be married four days later on May 4 to a girl from Pala Bhadesi area. But, when the girl’s parents got the news of this scam, they were shocked. The girl’s side has broken the relationship.
